If someone says they vibecoded a working app in one hour, please remember: they may not be selling you a product. They may be selling you a story about a product.

A vibe coding course.

Or services, mentorship, and the dream of becoming an AI founder overnight.

Or maybe they did build something impressive, but are confusing a demo with a system people can trust.

Or maybe they do not fully understand that an app is not just a screen with buttons. There is auth, payments, data storage, permissions, security, bugs, and users who will click the one thing nobody expected them to click.

Or maybe they honestly believe you can build a Slack killer in one hour.

Vibe coding is real.

Vibe coding is cool.

But please be very careful before giving a vibecoded app your personal data, email, passwords, documents, private files, or especially your credit card.

AI can make building feel magical.

It does not remove complexity, responsibility, or the need to understand what you are doing.

Use the tools.

Enjoy the magic.

But do not feed the first random demo your passwords and credit cards.
